COVID Guidelines

There’s a lot happening this week — here’s what you need to know:

Registration

Regular registration ends tomorrow, October 13th

Late registration begins October 14th for $250

Registration will remain open until leagues are full

Volunteers Needed
We are still looking for volunteers for all age groups. Your involvement makes each season possible and greatly impacts our players and families.

Coaches Meeting
Tuesday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Brookwood High School – Commons Area
All registered coaches and anyone interested in volunteering should attend.

Player Evaluations – Evolution Sports Complex
Wednesday, October 15th
8U: 6:00–7:00 p.m.
10U: 7:00–8:00 p.m.
12U & 14U: 8:00–9:00 p.m.
All registered players should attend their scheduled evaluation time.

Makeup Evaluations
Sunday, October 19th | 12:00–2:00 p.m.
Location: Evolution Sports Complex
For all age groups.
If your player cannot attend the main evaluation, please email president@brookwoodbasketball.com with your player’s name and age group to confirm attendance.

TRYOUTS

Tryout pre-registration is officially open for our Brookwood Travel Basketball Teams!

This opportunity is for 4th–7th grade boys who attend a Brookwood Cluster School, or Home/Private School students who reside within the Brookwood Cluster.

Travel teams will play in the Georgia Youth Basketball Association (GYBA ) League. The participant MUST attend a Brookwood Cluster School or Home School / Private School but resides in the Brookwood School Cluster.

Note: This is not the same as our BBA recreational program. Travel basketball is a step up in competition, commitment, and intensity. It’s designed for players who are ready to challenge themselves at a higher level.

Registration for the upcoming season is now open! Don’t miss your chance to join one of the most respected youth basketball programs in Gwinnett County, GA. Whether your child is in Snellville, Lilburn, or Lawrenceville, Brookwood Basketball is the perfect place for them to play, learn, and compete.

Fees & Gear

• Registration (Ages 7–18): $240
• Co-Ed Registration (Ages 5-6): $200
• Jersey: $45
• Shorts: $30

Important Dates

• Registration closes: October 14th
• Player evaluations: October 15th and October 18th at Evolution Sports Complex — times TBD.

Volunteers Wanted

Volunteer registration is also open! We rely on parent and community volunteers to make the season great!

The mission of the Brookwood Basketball Association is to provide a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for learning to play basketball, with an emphasis on the development of each child into a better person. The fundamentals of fair play, good sportsmanship, and team cooperation foster teaching the youngsters how to believe in themselves, handle adversity, accept responsibility, and attack life with a positive attitude. We believe the true measure of the success of our organization is the number of children who come back to play again in following seasons.
